John Miles - RIP
ACU Western has sadly lost a great, lifetime servant in John Miles.
John passed away on Tuesday, September 10 and tributes have poured in on the ACU Western Facebook page.
In the words of John Pye, John was a Life Member Of Stroud Valley MC, Vice President Of Western Centre ACU, long time manager of the original BVM Moto, and an off road enthusiast all of his life. He was Clerk Of the Course for many trials, including the National Cotswold Cups Trial, and The British Experts. Only this month, he was in the feature photo in Classic Trial Magazine's look back at the Cotswold Cups of 1973. John also organised the "Old Fogeys Get Togethers" for former and current riders to meet up and socialise.I am sure everyone in the Centre will be thinking of his brother Bob, daughters Julie And Sarah, and their families.
