WVAC John Langford Non-Expert Trial - don't miss it next time!

Report (and a rallying call to support this event) By: Steve Venn

I would just like to echo the words of Brett King's write up especially the bit about "Venn cleaned this beautifully"!!

Last Sunday was an absolute cracker, it had a bit of everything to keep riders interested and concentrated. What a suburb venue. I got chance to speak to the farmer and his delightful wife who kept us all going with hot drinks ,sandwiches and cakes and you couldn't wish to meet a more enthusiastic and welcoming land owner.

Craswell used to be a must-do trial in the Western Centre, well let me tell you, Craswell is on the calendar again. This is proper trials country and is the envy of every other trials organiser in the Western Centre.

Well done to Brian Watkins clerk of the course, I understand from Trevor Hunt this was his first one. I look forward to the next.

It's a bit further to travel, but it was bloody worth it. Please support these trials, from an old (!) trials rider who doesn't mind losing a few marks and likes to ride natural sections.

See you all Boxing day, at another traditional always excellent, trial.

Just a quick plug. Cheltenham Home Guard MCC New year trial at Hazleton is 3rd January. An easy going trial to start the season off gently. Nothing too severe, no hard route, any bike, any rider. Come and have some fun, enter on the day.

Merry Christmas, keep your feet up!
