The Girl On A Bike at ACU Western YDS
Now in its 11th year, the ACU Western Trials Youth Development Squad welcomed a special guest to the penultimate coaching session of the year in October.
Vanessa Ruck, aka The Girl On A Bike, paid the squad a visit at the Breakwell family's Rockfield farm and picked up some great riding advice while inspiring the young riders attending the event. Afterwards she shared her experiences to well over 100,000 followers on each of Facebook and Instagram, giving valuable publicity to the YDS and trials.
"We're very grateful to Vanessa for finding time to visit us - I think we all benefited, and most importantly simply enjoyed just riding bikes," said YDS co-ordinator Simon Welch, who invited her along. "Trials is a great social sport which builds skill and resilience and it welcomes girls and boys of all ages and abiliies."
