Trials Expert Grading
Following extensive discussion and careful consideration by club delegates at several ACU Western board meetings, the process for gaining Expert status has been simplified. The top 50% of finishers from the total number of starters on the Expert route at ACU Centre Championship Trials will automatically gain Expert status, if they do not already hold it. This change has been made to encourage riders coming out of the youth ranks to have something to aim for, and any other riders who are on the cusp of Expert status. The system has changed over the years, as have trials, classes and routes - you can read more of the history of grading here.
