Wye Valley AC Youth Trials 2010
Over in the western reaches of the Western Centre, Wye Valley Auto Club is running a popular series for the youngest trials riders - important work, as this is the breeding ground for our sport's success! Dan Sanders tells all about the next event: "The Wye Valley Auto Club are staging the third round of their Youth Trials Championship on 5th September. The trial will be run over a 'Conducted Course' and will be aimed at the usual Youth C and D classes plus the newly introduced E class. The venue is located at Llanveynoe, near Longtown, Herefordshire, in the shadow of the Black Mountains, full details can be found in the regulations.
For those parents out there looking to introduce their offspring to the world of trials, these events are the ideal starting point. A friendly, unintimidating atmosphere with sections suitable for all abilities, plus Mum and Dad can be close at hand to encourage and support their budding Toni Bou or Laia Sanz.
